Through a free Photobucket account. It's fairly easy to upload your pics, then copy and paste the IMG code for each separate photo (on the right of your Photobucket page) into your post. Job's a good 'un. :)

Click on Gallery at the top left of the page.
Select upload photo.
Click on choose file.
Select Photo library.
This should take you to pics on your computer/phone.
Select your picture.
Click Upload.
You then get a message your picture has been successfully uploaded or another message telling you it's too big...
If it is successfully loaded you can then incorporate it into a post.
Click on Reply then look to the right under the Smileys.
My Photos.
Insert.
Job done.....

That's the problem, John: the forum photo facility only permits a tiny amount of data, so you then need to go to the trouble of using a program to reduce it, as far as I know. I find it far easier to use a free-to-use image hosting service; uploading the pictures there, which automatically generates a series of codes that you can then copy and paste into your post to insert the pictures. No manipulation of the image size is needed and once you've done it once or twice it becomes second nature.

Edit: I outlined the procedure, step-by-step, in an earlier thread - I'll have a look for it.

2nd Edit: Can't find it, but don't mind redoing it, if anyone's interested.

I use Imageshack and up load the photo. Once it is uploaded I get an address for the picture and the opportunity to re-size it. I copy the address, come to FM and click on the little mountain icon at the top of the message box. A box comes up with HTTP hi-lighted. Remove that and paste in the address you have which will look like this.

FM will do the rest

One of the "joys" of using Tapatalk to view the forum is the ease of posting pictures. A few clicks and Hey Presto!

Two clicks, actually.

Lambert, I,ve tried again this morning, got so far with little trouble but was informed my pik was to big to upload-- why, it was taken on the same camera as the one I managed earlier.
So, its back to the drawing board to try another option.

Soft plastic-- if that tapatalk app is free it may be just the thing to sort me out, thanks.

Yes mate, it's a free app. It's basically an app that lets you view forums on a mobile phone.

Peter, That surprised me. I did have a go a couple of times but the method was so complicated I felt there was a better way.

However I think that photo was posted by Neil for me when I entered the perch comp a year or two ago.

If not someone is working some kind of magic:)

It was posted by Neil after I emailed it to him. I have it in my iPad photos and failed to upload it due to size restrictions. Today I tried again and it worked....
Have you ( or any others having problems uploading to gallery ) tried taking pics on a mobile phone then emailing the pic to yourself on pc/tablet? It often says send large/medium or actual size before sending, select medium and it should be fine...
Open the email and save the pic to your pics on computer/pad and try that.
