...I have been fishing the same commercial venue. I know there are plenty of other places to fish but I like the secure and friendly atmosphere of the place. One advantage of my chosen venue is that it has ten lakes and ponds to choose from. all of these are different. There are a couple of specialist species lakes. One is picturesque and is ideal for overnighters. The other is similar, slightly smaller in area but with some very deep swims. These lakes have equipment specifications and are intended for experienced anglers. Needles to say I have not fished these lakes yet.
There is another lake that holds big fish as a sort of stepping stone lake to get some experience in catching the larger specimens before having to deal with really big fish.
I have fished only five of the lakes so far and even fishing the same lake from a different peg can be like fishing in an entirely different venue. Am I alone in this? I think I could easily spend another couple of years fishing the lakes at this venue without getting bored.
It is also an easy drive from where I live in S.E. London and I can usually park very close to the peg, something I prefer as I do not have a proper trolley - yet.
