Is it snowing where you are?

Got about 1½" here now on the Chilterns.

Worst is, I'm supposed to be going fishing on Thursday. Will it affect the fishing?

You need to move up to the balmy North mate!

Yup - it will probably have melted by Thursday so I'd avoid the rivers. Try a commercial - they'll feed in any conditions if the stcking density is high enough.

Cakey you got snow.

My youngest Jack, is fishing in Broxbourne, only a couple of miles away, nothing there yet

No snow here on the Costa del Mersey it was sunny but cool today ......

Just took the dog for a walk and came back like an abdominal slowman.

All I could see of the dog was a white ghostly form barking at me from the ground. I just followed his tracks.

We now have 2.5 - 3 inches and it's still falling hard.

This was taken about the time I started the thread. (correction - well before)

The roof is completely covered now as is the floor except for where the car stands.

I have never in my life known it to snow this early in the year and Lincolnshire could be a bit freakish at times, usually with heavy frosts. We did have about 7 inches here early in December back in 1981, but that's the earliest I've known here.

Had a storming session with the rainbows and browns today - 9 of 'em in 2 hours.

It was cold yes, but fun. Those rainbows fight like heck in the cold water.

No signs of snow here, but Rotherham is in a weather shadow area guarded by the Peak District.

Lots of snow here in Hemel Hempstead, still coming down thick, kids next door have done a right good snowman.
