I have been fishing a mixed lake that has bream , chub, tench, ide, barbel, and carp most of the fish are 2-6lbs but the carp are up to 20lbs …Would my drennan series 7 12ft Specialist Avon Quiver 1.5lb handle a 10 to 20lbs carp I'm using 8lb main line and 6lb hook length I'm not targeting the big carp but they are there

Yes.

Given there are no bankside tree's and bushes to contend with, where stopping a powerful fish comes into the equation.
