Altamash has "enough Rapala lures to supply half of Asia!" so he has chosen the Wychwood rod and reel - his first dedicated carp rig.

Again, well done, Altamash, and thanks for a very enjoyable read.

Congratulations to both Altamash and Ian! Both stories were totally fabby and 'Deola's Pond' was a worthy and atmospheric winner! I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the stories and a huge thanks to Fishing Magic, the judges and the sponsors for putting on such a wonderful competition! Tight Lines everybody!!

I would have absolutely loved to have been fishing with you but I have no way of knowing when I will next be in the UK. So I was forced to go for the rod and reel given my stock of rapalas.
