Help!!!

Hi all,

I am hoping for some help. Me and a couple of friends are looking to go fishing for the first time.

We are looking to go somewhere in the north west (UK) where we can camp and fish... for as cheap as possible.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where we could go?
I've research a little and I am aware that some costs are unavoidable but I am hopeful with some advice from people who know a lot more than me, that there may be good places we can camp/ fish for free?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not my area of the country, Jacks, but don't forget to get a rod licence or you could be in for a hefty fine.
