Have you tried Carp on the fly yet? Can be good fun in the evening when the sedges are skipping on the water!

Hi,
Sunny Devon, well, bit grey and cloudy Devon, edge of Plymouth. Mostly rivers and still waters for Trout, few ponds on Dartmoor and a Carp pond locally, had a couple of Carp, only 'bout 4lb on fly, good fun tho..

Aiming to get some salt water fishing in soon, Bass would be nice, just sorted out a 10wt fly rod for them...possibly slightly overkill but hoping to go for some Bones and Tarpon in the winter

Welcome. It will be nice to have import about differing disciplines.

PS. Try Nash bugs on a fly rod for carp when feeding dog biscuits.
