A very interesting clip. I didn't know there were trout streams in Tasmania. Are there many? I noticed you were casting upstream all the time, is it better than downstream fishing?

What other species are in the river?

Nice clip, same as Keora, what else do you fish for? I was talking about emigrating to Tasmania last month, looks a nice place.

Hundreds of streams and rivers in Tasmania from little tiny creeks to big flowing rivers all with naturally spawned Brown and Rainbow Trout. Other species in some rivers are Redfin Perch and Native Blackfish. We also have Sea Run Trout that come in to our major rivers in August to November chasing baitfish called Whitebait. I always wade upstream as the fish face upstream in the current and eat the food that comes down to them and they don't hear you or see you as easy. We are spoilt for choices down here.
