Not sure whether I'm posting in the correct place so please feel free to move.

I was recently lucky enough to win a Grauvell Vertix Odissey LC420 shore rod, retailing at around £190.

Suffering from COPD, there is no way I'm ever going to be using it.

Does anyone know of a shop or similar who may exchange for a decent feeder rod?

Tricky one that. First you have to find someone who wants one.
eBay is the obvious but if you're anything like me thats too tedious and hassle posting it.
I'd imagine it's worth £20-40 if you take it to a cash converters shop.
If it cost you nothing then anything would be a Billy bonus innit?

You could join World Sea Fishing forums and offer it sale/swap on there; they seem to have a fairly busy second-hand section. The name's misleading - I've looked up lots of UK ads for coarse gear that originated on that forum.

Try an ad on here, too; you never know....

my older sister has it apart from going blind, she struggles a lot but it doesn't seem to get her down, well she doesn't show it. Good luck, mate.

That is a very good rod. Why don't you find a Grauvell dealer who also sells course tackle. You will not get rrp for it but I feel sure that you would be able to swap it for a rod or reel or bivvy at half value.

Thanks for the replies, I have been searching for dealers but they seem to be few and far between.

My local shops don't do much sea fishing stuff, if any, so am checking around the Fylde area.

I am certainly not going to be asking a lot for it, I'd be more than happy to exchange for a Shaky EXP rod.

Try Gerry's fishing in Southport. They sell some Grauvell kit if not rods. Is the rod telescopic?

No, it's a 14ft 3 piece and comes in lovely blue padded bag.
