How long a life can I expect from catapult elastic. Mine is about 6 months old and has not had a great deal of use:) but already it is fraying at the ends.

Looking at the marginal difference in price between a new catapult and new elastic, I presume you all just buy another catapult!

I have implied indifference in the past about my ezfeeda but whilst I still get the distance wrong( angle of elevation is fairly critical) , I do like it now for popping small amounts of Groundbait around the float . I/it can still be erratic but in the general area so at least I am putting bait down in a reasonably small swim. It works best with the smallest pot in my view. I can use it one handed and if the fish were around my ankles I would be right on the button:rolleyes:

If my elastic begins to fray I just cut the damage off and put it back on, you only lose an inch each time.
I always shorten elastics any way as they seem too long to me.
