Hi from peterborough.

I like to dorder a bit of luse fishing with soft plastics on the nene and I do a bit of leadger fishing for anything that takes my bait (I just like to catch something)

My goal is to try and catch as many species as possible using these methods.

So far I've caught on lures. Perch, Pike and a baby zander

On the leadger I've caught carp, bream and tench.

Welcome aboard mate, so you enjoy lure fishing, yes it can be addictive I know
because I'm a victim myself. So enjoy what you're doing and have fun.

Cheers for the welcome guys.

I love lure fishing as I can go out on the bike with nothing but a rod, net, mat and a small box of lures and cover miles of the river in a day. There is always something happening. Be it casting, catching, getting tangled in trees or loosing lures lol.

When it comes to catching carp I'm happiest when I get ones that don't look overweight and bloated. I like the weight to be in the length of the fish not the height.
