Yes where I was fishing is tidal. The first fish appears to be a resident fish that lives in the tidal reaches but does not go out to sea. The second one looks like he has been living in the sea and as come in to the estuary going on their colours. In a few weeks time we will get a run of 'whitebait' which come in to the river to spawn. This will bring the sea run trout in to the river to feed on them. Also the river trout will come down the river to feed on them as well. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
