Hi all my names Alan I'm 29 and recently started back up fishing, I can usually be found on the river Trent hunting down barbel.
But now I have decided I fancy trying my hand at fishing for some pike or large perch. I want to try this with lures so wanted a baitcaster reel and rod. These are surprisingly hard to come by it appears. I was looking at the Abu Garcia promax combo as it appeared good value for money but everywhere I look it seems to be out of stock with no idea of when it will return. Well I'm impatient and don't want to wait for new stock so does anyone have any suggestions for where it may be in stock or alternative options?
Ohh just thought I better say I'm looking for 2 rods and 2 reels. One for me and one for the father Inlaw.
Just to be awkward we do that the baitcaster style setup......
