Amazing and curious! Was it a two piece rod he made or a short one piece? I had assumed that all bamboo rods( I have one or at least 2 pieces out of 3;))were made from solid bamboo blanks. Mine is!

I wonder what they cost and what advantages they offer for fly fishing?

These are rhetorical qustions so thanks for posting!
