I've fished a lake about 6times now as it's about a n hour and a half drive and I lik to spend a full day there when I fish it

I'd say after 6 visits vid just started to get a feel for the water and the fish I'd feeding time and where to fish but I think it will take another 6 or 8 fishing trips to get some understanding of the water

I've found that a lot depends on the water concerned. Some waters are relatively easy, others it's never ending. One particular water I know changes every time you think you've got it cracked. It's bitten some very good anglers on the behind with its seemingly unfathomable mood swings. Every year the fish seem to change their habits. All in all, it's a bit of a headbanger that treats the complacent very harshly.
