Thanks for the help lads ,think i,m gonna have too visit local johnson ross store tommorow see what they have.
Tigger ,i much prefer the action too a spliced tip ,always feels like theirs a dead spot too me with push in tips ,just my preference.
I,m just a fussy sod tigger, theirs just something in a spliced tip that I prefer maybe it,s a confidence thing ,had a look today at loads of rods but just not quite what I,m after ,think I,m asking too much too be fair trying to get best of both worlds in aquiver tip rod,I looked at a 1lb 11ft Avon rod by free spirit ,great but tip was just a little bit on the thick side but almost what I wanted.
Cheers tigger i will take a look ,must have a website, apparently free spirit are launching a new range of rods this week their maybe something amongst them.I know what i want but someone has said ,their ain,t any blanks out their that will give me what I'm looking for, i,m resorting back too using a drennan rod as a quiver rod bit thick in the tip but it,s close too what i want.
The hardy rods have been discontinued but they do come up on ebay both new and second hand. There are odd shops that still have some old stock available
