Another lovely day spent watching some kingfishers close up, oh and a few carp as well. It was fine and sunny if a little chilly out of the sun.

I put on the only jacket I had in the back of the car, an ex army goretex jacket in camouflage . It is not good for fishing unless you fasten it as there is far too much Velcro which catches the line, the rod and everything but fish! A pain!

Are all squaddies short armed? It was good for shooting air rifles but not good for fishing!

The only time I've been caught out with the wrong clothing was on a very hot day early September.
I had the idea to strip down to my underwear to cool down, I remembered just in time I was wearing my thong.:eek:
