My ATVB video - Crayfish the Invasion

Some of you may have heard of Dusto, he is an artist who specializes in angling. He created with the angling trust a fishing video competition to encourage people to take up angling. This is my video:

I know, I am new to this forum but I am trying to raise awareness to the general public about the crayfish problem we face, most are unaware. On a side note, I realise that there are lots of laws about crayfish fishing in the UK. I'm living temporarily in France and that's where I film it. I wanted to promote crayfish all over Europe and didn't what to put people off with all the complications. It is my first ever fishing video so do excuse the bad general quality of the video.

Instead of making a new thread, I'll add you this one : what is the best knot for a loop in fluorocarbon ?

I have watched the video multiple times, it's impossible to see how the knot is made, think it is the homer rhode loop knot but not sure. Before asking here I did google:fluorocarbon loop note, it was the first thing that popped up. Have you use this knot and liked it or just wanted to help me so googled it ?

I still would like to know what you guys think is the best loop knot for fluoro; but I was fishing carp today and caught this. What species is it ?
