Wanted: 2nd hand Map TKS for spares (any of the range ending in 25)

Having damaged my trusty TKS 125, I am after another same pole or similar in the range to replace damaged section 4 and provide spares.
Long story short, MAP have been pxss poor with parts and service- refuse to do anything or stock spares. Anyone got a pole they'd sell, or even just a section?

You might want to try a section from a newer MAP pole like the 101 it could be that it fits. Try a local tackle shop - bring your 3 and 5 section in, you might be suprised. It could well be that another make of pole will also have a section which fits... ok I understand you may have an odd section but at least it will be functional.

like you, I bought a MAP pole a couple of years back and I watched the guy at fosters put various sections from different poles together... His words were that the cheaper poles were all made from the same mandrel.

Yes and my number 4 broke last year - but I got a new one fairly easily, but that was within 18 months of purchase...
