Waterproofing your walking boots

I've got some walking boots that have lost their waterproof abilities

Good condition though but would you replace or can you still get a decent spray to waterproof them. If so, any ideas what works best ?

Try Urad waterproofing wax if you can get it. It is offered for sale at game/country fairs and works well!

Assuming they are convetional Leather construction then DUBIN is best darn messy but good .

Barbour wax applied hot (liquid), had my Brasher boots since the late eighties and theyve never let in water.

I use Nikwax waterproofing boots and jackets never had a problem

The worst thing you can have in cold weather is wet feet, I use Nikwax on my boots, always worked up to now.
