Well thats the second time after clicking on a photo link.
Same poster that i've got a virus warning immediately thats only clearable by deleting the browser and re installing.
Its the one that talks about porn and gives you 2 mins to click on a link before saying your phone will be disabled.

Its clever as if you try to clear the bar and input "how to fix" it mirrors google heading and tries to get you to download a supposed fix.

Unfortunatly I wont be looking at pics or posting them in future. I will advise the individual to check his photobucket account.

I wonder if this has any bearing on the previous website warnings.

Cheers Graham.

I understand that it may not be kosher to "out" this particular member as the source of the virus, but have the offending pics been taken down as a precautionary measure?

Sorry Rob meant to say i would advise the poster.
Its not his fault. But takes a long time to remove the pop up.
I have full anti virus and Never had a problem in 10 years
Although this is a new phone?
Going to dl AVG on top again.

I wont post again about it on this fishing area but just wanted to warn.

I've just replied to Graham's pm as it was the pictures of Flight's grayling that I posted in the HDYGO thread that seem to have affected him... Or at least I think they were the ones he was referring to

I'm no expert but I think it's something that embeds itself on your own devices's running software and awaits you to click on where it's hidden so that it can activate the virus, somebody else had a similar issue accessing the site from a smartphone and posted about it fairly recently although it wasn't as a result of clicking any images.

I've clicked the pics that are causing Graham the problem both from my laptop and my iphone and it's fine on both with no problems at all but it might be worth notifying FM in light of the recent security warnings that many seem to have had a problem with.

I'm pretty sure it's not the images as I've scanned them both for viruses and they've come up clean but If anyone clicks the pics in the HDYGO thread, post no.5488, and experiences the problem of being redirected to a porn site (or any other problem) could they please report it here just so we know?

No issues for me on either Windows laptop or Android tablet. No AV warnings, no pop ups, no problems whatsoever.

No problems with my PC either but our IT man has been informed of viewers' experiences.

I've just had a virus warning flash up on the screen when I clicked onto FM.
