Right then!

Get the kettle on, make yourself a brew and sit down whilst you peruse these and see how many rivers you can get without Googling!

No prizes, just the usual festive (!) jollities and accolades for the smart r'se...

1) Sounds like a late afternoon meal or popular hot beverage… But only for hire, not to buy?

2) It might do the similar sounding equivalent of this if you cut it open and liquid poured out?

3) I am a hole and within me lives a?

4) As in former with an added ‘e’?

5) A very fast breeze with no spaces in between?

6) Golfers line their balls up (!) on them?

7) Scratch it then!

8) Not eye wash, not ear wash but?

9) Pronounced the same as a legion on the skin?

10) If something was good, with something additional all as one word?

11) Take a full twelve months and re-arrage the vowels?

12) Same as No. 2 but better ?

13) It’s zero, for the sake of an ‘o’ instead of an ‘e’?

14) It’s would be sour if it were not for the letter which represents Britain’s favourite brew?

15) It’s magnificent?

16) You might do this if you decide to wear something, or a shortening of a Trump?

17) You may well ask?

18) A rather dapper pattern?

19) Calling?

20) Frequented by Adam and Eve?

21) Sounds like team?

22) Fourth in the alphabet?

23) Old Father? (everyone has to get one)

24) Rhymes with the name of the Sheriff in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and only an alpha character away?

25) My capitol letter is four away from nibble and one before Sybil?

26) Can't be bothered to fish this river, think i'll just chuck out and have a kip, see what happens?

Would it help at this point if I said I had lost the answers? :D :D :D

Only joking!

For those with restless minds they're available at a fiver a sheet (one answer per sheet) for cheques made payable to... :w

Trent is correct and very well arrived at Artist.

Bloody hell I've lost where we're at and what's not been guessed correctly yet :D

Congratulations on the two of you who got 'Windrush', I thought I might have had you on those but I can confirm that we have received incorrect answers from Messrs Crabtree on No. 13 & Messrs Vimes on No.4, which has now been given by Messrs Crabtree correctly.

As far as I can see the ones still up for grabs (but don't take it as gospel) are:

9)

10)

13)

16)

17)

19)

Some very good answers so far, too numerous to highlight the many but scarce enough to highlight the wrong :D
