What rods do you have ?
I am a positive minimalist compared to some of the tarts on here,
I am a positive minimalist compared to some of the tarts on here, the place is festooned with 'em :wh :wh :wh
A dozen just about covers everything for me and I don't tend to hang on to stuff that doesn't get used, I just spread what's left out further
Three Avons, two tip rods, three float rods, a couple of deadbait rods, a couple of spinning rods and that's about it.
Now...
On the slightly different question of how many rods would I like?
How long ya got?
No disrespect to you Keith,as it seems many do it,but what is the point in hoarding loads of stuff, you,ll never gonna use again?..personally id rather sell tackle i no longer use to fund further purchases,If id of kept everything,id have loads of Poles, rods, reels, nets, seatboxes, holdalls, carryalls, etc, etc, all clogging up my garage, wouldnt be able to move...and one day when i die, someone will come along, and either throw it all away,or sell it for themselvesI have far too many rods that I have accumulated over the years and reels too.
I have rods that I haven't even used that I bought 'just incase I ever needed them, and rods that I have only ever used 2 or 3 times over the years that I've had them.
I have fly rods-n-reels, Poles & various Whips, at least 7 or 8 float rods of different lengths from 11ft up to 20ft, several Avon rods, Barbel rods, Quivertip rods of various sizes, winkle pickers, around 6 or 7 Carp rods and around 17 reels of different sizes and types.
My problem is that when I decide to buy a new rod to replace an older rod I still end up keeping the older rod.
It's a waste of time trying to list them all as I will be constantly updating the list to add rods and reels that I had not remembered to list before Lol.
