Can not go wrong with Shimano reals.

I have a couple of 5000 shimano baitrunners, cannot remember exact model but simular spec to them in the link. Mine are silver grey though. Dam good real and like the rear fighting drag along with baitruner control.

Great reels Iuseboth Shimano 4000's and 5000's for Barbel and close to mid range Carp fishingand love them.

Not a bad price either

They will be fine. I have 3000m, 5000gte, 6000/8000gte, and 10,000gte and have never had a problem with any of them.

Never used the new model you mention but would have no hesitation in going so.
