Looking for suggestions of a nice scenic lake or smaller complex in France with a river that includes barbus backing and included or one nearby.

Reasonable carp in the lake. Also advice on normal spawning times please.

Help appreciated.

Regarding carp spawning, in Northern France I've known them to spawn as early as the second week in April but normally it's sometime in the last few weeks of May.

Thanks for the info.

I looked at Bills lake and it seems they might just have 2 swims on the river.

Cheers

Graham
