Advice needed guys-have recently purchased the above item and it has been fine up until recently when it acquired a bubble (more precisely, an air gap in that section of readable scale) anyone had this experience and any ideas how to fix it? (have tried putting it in the freed to retract the liquid, and also in very hot water to exceed its maximum setting) Thanks in advance for any advice.

Totally agree, I've had this happen to me a couple of times with mine although I've had mine probably for about 10 years now so not bad really but doing as you've just mentioned has also soughted it out for me aswell
