Never mind fishing, it makes me want to go diving again.

Does it come in a cork-and-cane finish option, so such old relics as I could feel a little less guilty?

Utterly idiotic IMHO.

Might have a use for underwater photography, but fishing, no.

Am I the only one here who feels inadequate every time someone 'invents' a virtual way of doing things or an App to do what was always done adequately in other ways? For sure there are many time saving, or process improving technologies, but much of it seems to be tech for tech sake.

Perhaps I am just a Luddite!

More toys for the rich. I'll stick to my water craft and luck. More fun that way.

Sporting aspect aside...

Assuming its serious and not a wind up I don't actually think its going to help you catch fish. Chucking that great big thing in and then attempting to fish via an ipad or whatever that screen is on the rod...I recon thats more of a detriment than an advantage. I'd put my money on good ole Alan Scotthorne out fishing it every time.

The next thing will be fishing with DRONES and I mean literally,

We've already discussed this on a Lengthy thread on WSF forum, with the odd few for the idea but many of us totally against it,

Just another stupid idea
