Barbel Specialist Group Winter meeting

The Barbel Specialist Groupis holding a winter meeting on Sunday 14th December in Northampton.

The guest speaker is Martin Bowler talking about the making of his new series of films 'Catching the Impossible' which promises to be an excellent event with the opportunity to buy Martin's dvd and book on the day.

There will also be a forum of barbel specialists including the likes of Bob Church, Ray Walton, Ade Kidell, Rob Swindells and some bloke called Dave Burr. The Official Barbel Historic Records will be on display and the latest Barbel Specialist Magazine will be available. Add to this the trade stands, a great raffle, a buffet lunch and an all day bar.

The day will be well attended by the membership but there are a few places available for non-members. Many thanks to everybody that contacted Dave Mason regarding the meeting and membership. Dave, Ray Walton and Bob Church are all overwhelmed at the response that far exceeded their expectations.

Everybody that has managed to get an invite to the meeting has now been told so if you are still waiting I am sorry but there is the Spring meeting to look forward to.
