Only way to avoid them is to fish where there aren't any other than that don't use pellets or any other kind of loose feed come to that.

If there are bream in a water there is no way to avoid them they even take big baits such as 22mil boilies. not using freebies will possibly help but don't rely on it. I have even caught them on surface baits.

When carp are cruising on the surface they're generally not feeding.
When they do feed they will bully the bream off the baits...

One sure method of avoiding them is to throw a few house bricks in your taking spot, that should quieten things down for a spell :).

Had a chat with angler next peg round was a big reed bed between us and found out why they was slurping on the surface . He was spodding and had some Nash riser pellets in with mix as he was zigging for 1st time he said . Least I know they should come up fairy easy hopefully .

He been fishing that lake a year and he said he don't have problem with bream . He spods out a big bed of bait normally hemp and maize with chopped boilies in as well .

I thought the bream would hover this up ?

He also said pva bags of pellets or pellets in genral just attract the bream mainly .

Matt yer just gonna have to except it that if yer trying to fish for tench or carp and there are as many bream in the water it stands to reason that yer gonna get bream no matter what,

The law of averages obviously dictates this :wh

What ever bait you use for tench or carp the bream will eat it aswell
