Tomorrow I will be using a swing tip , a small 10g maggot feeder and an Abu 501 in pursuit of a 2lb roach. In honour of my hearts desire ( the Abu- puberty happened a while later) as a 12 year old I shall be wearing short trousers, ankle socks and a bob cap!:)

My mother has a lot to answer for;) I am really looking forward to it!:rolleyes:

Brilliant Mike, go for it mate, remember though that 2 lb roach are not exactly easy not unless yer fishery is littered with em :D

Ha ha ! I expect there could be a 2lb in there I remember last summer catching loads over 1lb mark and have recommended it for roach fishing to chap at work who targets the redfins
