Going breaking in the new rods and reels tomorrow. Bp-6's on 6ft dwarfs has anyone tried these carp rods. What do you think?

Been using the 3lb version for a year or so. The tip's soft enough, but the real power comes in all at once, which has led to a few hook pulls. Wish I'd bought the Grey's 7 foot 2.75, TBH, which has a more progressive power delivery.
