Currently looking at the Daiwa Spectron 13ft as a general waggler rod to cover everything from silver fish to medium sized tench. With the subtlety for small stuff and some backbone for some bigger bonus fish.

Anyone using the current version and can report on it for me as cant't find any reviews

Is its as good as the M2?

Is there anything better at aprox £160 which is what ive currently got a deal on the spectron

Cheers for your advice in advance

Being a Drennan fan i would go for an Acolyte plus. I've caught Barbel, Tench, Bream and Carp. Strong backbone but the tip is sensitive enough to show small knocks from Rudd and Roach. I've owned Acolyte plus since about 2 weeks after the release date and love it
