Looking to get a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 2500, stuck on which one to get FB or the FB HG version

Line retrieve per crank cm:
FB = 73cm
HG = 88cm

The normal FB version is about £25 cheaper.

Do you need the extra speed of the HG model? High speed often equals more line twist with monofilament, especially if you're constantly casting and retrieving.

I went with the normal FG version, I fish in a small river and cast max 25m and I'm casting all the time. So like you said prob better with the normal version. Always better to get a others opinion just in case I missed something :)
