paste in the margins

I've been fishing home made paste in the margins and just a rod length out recently and have had some good results

The paste is sweet corn blitz in a food blender with a little water to make a thick sweet corn "soup" then ground bait added until it becomes a paste

I fish the paste on a pole float with no shot down the line - this means when the float un cocks then the paste has dissolved off he hook and it's time to re bait the hook

How do other fish paste and what home made paste recipies do you have

When the float "uncocks" it could be a bite.

yes but hen the un cock tends to be quick - when the paste has fallen off I find the float gently rises to lay flat on the surface of the water
