feeder type for tidal rivers

What type of feeder/method/cage would you use on a tidal water? Discounting weight as i can found out on the day what i need to hold the bottom.
In my armoury have Cages Inc in line and running, method feeders small and large and also what i call a ball feeder what you just compact the cage with ground bait to make into a ball or egg shape. The ball feeder has no weights attached, so may count that one out. Am thinking going along the line of a free running cage with if needed pig weights to hold the bottom.

Cages for groundbait and those plastic ones with the holes for hemp and maggot.

I recommend a large baitdropper!
