Well, I asked Ian the owner to think of a nice light reel I could use for long trotting when it's too windy, or pacy for the pin. He came up with 4 and I chose the Daiwa as I have had good experience with them in the past. The reel was a 3000 size for lightness the reel was a Legalis.
It arrived today and I must say for the money it's one of the nicest reels I've ever brought. Very light, good size spool, nice drag by the feel of it and with 4 bb as smooth as silk. Nice size handle, slightly oversized. I've loaded one of the spools with new 6lb Daiwa sensor clear. Tomorrow I'll give it a try.
