As above the exage would be an excellent choice. I would go with a 3000 size.

Either the Exage as mentioned,or the Drennan front drag feeder 4000 size, comes with 3 aluminium spools, when I first bought mine I thought it was sh*te,the reel in general and the drag seemed stiff, but after running it in it works perfectly, but unlike the Exage I wouldn't use it for barbel as it doesn't seem to have the winding power.

A Greys GFS40. I've got 2 and i can highly recommend them. Lots of smooth bearing, nice lay line. Excellent drag. Very well put together. They put some £100 plus reels to shame You also get a spare alloy spool. Can find them for under £50. I paid £23 each delivered. RRP is £59.00
If you want a baitrunner reel they also do one in the same size for a couple of quid more
