For years I've used hemp and never really got the cooking right, until now.
Place two pints of hemp in a plastic microwaveable container, cover with water, then cover. Microwave on full power for 20 minutes. Put container outside overnight, to save smelling the kitchen out. Next day repeat with another 20 minutes on full.
Leave to cool. Almost every piece will have opened. I use a bowl and cover with cling film making a small hole for the steam to escape.
Never had my hemp been as good, perfect. I then add a tea spoonful of hemp oil for each pint.
