Stiff, hinged, popup rig

On the hinge rig, what should i use as the link behind the hinge? Is a leadcore necessary, or just any sinking link with some putty on the hinge? On the business end, anyone any preferences? - i've heard good stuff about the esp stiff link and stiff rigger hook, can anyone vouch for this? pat

No, you don't have to use leadcore, I use amnesia, but any stiff line will do. ESP Stiff rigger hooks will be fine they were designed for this sort of rig.

Do you mean amnesia 'hook-side' of the hinge or 'lead-side'?
