Not old classics but just second-hand books, are great value for money and can be very informative. I tend to buy textbook as I am still trying to catch up on decades of non-fishing.
One such book is John Wilson's Coarse Fishing Method Manual. I have had the book for a while now but had not looked at the child-like inscription on the inside of the board self-cover it Reads proudly: "Bernard's Book" and " I [picture of a heart with an arrow through it] charlotte easton"
It begs the question, is anyone here possibly going to own up to being 'Bernard' or did he sell the book because Ms Easton went off with another?
Ralph.
