I've just updated my iPhone to iOS 11 only to discover that the app that I used to log all my fishing data, including any PB's and photos (when I can be bothered to take them) no longer works.
As I never bother backing up my 'phone even I re-install the app on another 'phone with the older OS I won't be able to retrieve the data as it was stored purely locally on the 'phone. (I may actually try this later just to be sure.)
Consequently I now have no idea what my PB is for ANY of the fish I have caught. I know my best Tench was in excess of 6lb, but not by how much. Same for Carp, Roach, Bream etc etc.
Funnily enough I couldn't care less. It's quite liberating in fact.
I've become increasingly disinterested in recording catch details, very rarely take pictures of the fish I catch, certainly never the 'selfie' type and have a memory like a sieve when it comes to details like ounces etc.
As long as they pull back I'm generally quite happy.
