Nordik tackle/ Octbox

I would like to thank Rick at Octbox for the friendly and courteous way he dealt with my enquiry, I am cleaning up an old ASI box and the strap and fasteners need replacing, after trawling various websites for suitable strap,i remembered I had seen a picture of an octbox on here in the "Yet another chair"post, the strap seemed long enough,so a quick call was made,I mentioned why I was enquiring, rick gave me measurements for one, and it is now on its way,
I got the same professional service for buying a £5 strap as I would have
if I had been buying a seatbox,

I'll second that, Mark. I bought an Octbox a couple of years back and Rick explained all the options over a couple of phone calls to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and put me in touch with a local owner so I could see one before ordering. I'd heard his customer service was legendary, and I could see why. The products are very well thought out and strongly built, too.

I have heard good reports about Rick and how he goes out of his way to
ensure that everything is fine,
I left him my number and he phoned me back later today to tell me
he had one to measure up and also would put the picture on his website if
I wanted to see how they looked,
Like I said,i told him it was for an ASI box and he said the strap
would be fine, I am thinking of ordering the pole and rod roost he has
for Daiwa box I got for grandson,but which I use if have a match,
It is a brilliant idea the way it will take both rods and topkits at the same time
and a good price as well,

Well the strap arrived yesterday, and it is a great replacement,
there is enough adjustment on it make carrying the box easier,
All I have to do now is finish of cleaning the catches up and
giving them a touch of black paint, and the same for umbrella holder,
the hinges will be cleaned using scotchbright and a clear matt
varnish added to make them look tidier,
So thanks Rick for a good service and I will be ordering some
accessories off you to go on grandsons box.
