Nomura Reels/Rods

Recently seen this particular brand of reel being advertised and have noticed that some tackle dealers are making them available to order or are available on the shelf. As i understand it they are a good quality reel made in Japan any comments?. I am aware that they also produce a range of lure rods etc any comments?.

Never used them or know anything about them, had a look at them on line and one thing that would put me off is what appears to be huge knobs on the handles.

There are more than enough huge knobs to be found on the bank already ! Its headtorch season again....my favourite time of year !

Back on topic. They look decent enough bits of kit but they're not giving them away. I don't know the marque but for that money I think I'd stick with a brand I knew and trusted.

Very much so.......but .not when I'm having my retinas burnt out by some idiot who cannot sit still for more than 30 seconds and needs a bloody searchight on all the time. What are these goons doing that needs permanent light ? It's just not necessary.
