In Toronto, we have access to a dozen rivers and creeks where salmon and big ocean genetic steelhead (planted into the Great Lakes) make their way to the rivers with plenty of fishing access. This time of year, the province is buzzing with anglers catching Chinook, cohos, pinks and steelies.
For one day, while I fumble with my new camera - I put the rods away and filmed the salmon run in my backyard. Always fun to watch them leaping, attacking each other and building their nests. I hope you enjoy the 2 min video as I did making it. Link below.
