This boat (or at least a much bigger version of it) is using hydrogen from on-board electrolysis to power a 6 year round-the-world trip with zero emissions #EnergyObserver #ADSW2018
Seawater as electrolyte maybe?
On the face of it, a 6 year round 'fishing' trip ain't bad considering no fossil fuels will be burned in the process. I firmly believe in the idea of generating hydrogen at source but using electrolysis to produce it hasn't proved efficient enough in the past. The solar panels will barely provide enough energy for lighting and the galley IMO.
