Is this legal here in the UK?

I think I am okay as this is a feeder, not a line weight, but I thought I would see what you guys think. I have some 15g feeders that I want to make into 30g feeders by adding 15g of lead. It will be keyed and glued to the existing weight. Is this legal here in the UK as lead weights between 0.06 and 28.35 grams (No.6 shot to 1oz) are banned. I assume this will be okay, as the lead will be part of a feeder that weighs 30g in total, even though the lead will only weigh 15g.


Any thoughts?

Its something I have always done, I carry spare lead and a roll of electrical tape for adding weight to a feeder, cant see any problem with doing it.

If it forms an integral part of a fedder, then it will be legal/fine.
