Crying last weekend to a rather happy chap today!

1 Tench
7 Roach/Rudd

Sun was shining, Mrs brought a nice picnic with us. Took some advice and used for the first time nylon to hook. Double maggot. Baiting up my swim with a Dynamite 2mm Meaty feed pellets.

It's great when you catch a few, isn't it? Makes you feel like you're up and running. There's a thread on here called How Did You Get On, and that's the best place to post your reports of you days out, and where you'll find everyone else's.

Joking apart well done and I'm glad you cracked it, there's nothing more disconcerting than struggling whilst others around are all catching but that's fishing and it happens to us all occasionally.

Yes well done and a nice variety of fish too rather than just the usual in my case carp or bream!
