I've just stood on my tackle box, bought from a DIY shop umpteen years ago, It was okay but some items just didn't fit properly such as feeders spools of line etc. I have a rig case which I chuck most of my shot hooks etc in. Need something that will carry floats and had fairly generous compartments.

The one caveat being that it must not cost an arm and a leg.

Any recommends ?

Thanks

Nick

I always liked the cantilever type tackle boxes for my old fishing basket or shakey type box.
There are some great looking ones ranging from a tenner to 20 notes.
The shakespear ones where always decent quality and quite robust. I like the fact that they're compact when closed and once opened everything is easily accessible.

Have a look at the NGT and Decathlon boxes! They come in various sizes and are cheap! I have both one for lure fishing and the NGT for all other stuff! I also have the Greys version which isn't cheap but which is well made! This is for all my river forays and thus has had plenty of use( not)!
