which rod ?

im looking to try pellet waggler fishing i have a 4 1/2 ssg float but not sure of which rod to use i have a 10 & 13 ft waggler rods and a 1.5 lb tc avon i would only be casting 30 yards max the 10ft has landed carp to 8lb but because of regular casting was thinking of avon. your thoughts would be appreciated
