Vintage Thos Atkinson & Sons of Kendal 3 piece Greenheart trout fly Rod
The label on the rod states this rod as coming from the following retailer...

This is backed up by a feint stamp on the butt collar above the wooden button that also states T.Atkinson & Sons - Kendal.
This lovely display piece of angling history has all its rings and whippings still, but with obvious marks and chips to the varnish, particularly on the butt section. The makers transfer is nice and largely complete though.
It has one turned wooden ferrule plug for the lower section, and judging by the middle section lower ferrule which also has a wooden peg insert, the top lower ferrule is possibly missing the same peg insert.
We put the rod together and it still flexes surprisingly well for being so old. Great for any fly anglers wall or rod rack as a conversation piece, and especially if you are in the Lake District given the Kendal connection.
